Art Instruction

Ontarioville Art Center offers classes in charcoal, oil pastels, colored pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor to ages 8 and up, and also more advanced artists looking to improve their techniques or perhaps learn a new medium.  Classes are available after school, evenings and on Saturdays.  Class sizes are kept small to provide personal attention for each student. The 2-hour sessions fly by as students work on their skills, and perfect and finish each new work of art.  Student art shows are held annually at the Hanover Park Park District Susan Matthew’s Gallery.

Classes are ongoing, so you can start at any time.  To register, simply contact us to arrange the time that best fits your schedule.  A list of supplies will be provided at the first class.

“Everyone can learn to draw,” says Linda Howe, OAC Faculty Artist.
“You just need to learn the basics and perfect them to create and recreate your own version of that favorite photo!”
