Sue Neel is a bead weaver from the Western Suburbs of Chicagoland. Many of her designs have been published in national bead hobbiest magazines like Bead and Button, Beadwork, and Jewelry Stringing, her work has also appeared in 2014 edition of Creative Beading Vol 9., and has made personal “Facebook Live” appearances on Facet Jewelry Online. Sue truly enjoys creating beadwork that takes vintage design elements and makes them wearable in the busy woman’s lifestyle of today. Versatile pieces that can be worn dressed-up and for every-day events that are comfortable, and enhance the wearer’s overall style. Sue shows her work at many Art shows around the Chicago, but gets her inspiration and energy from working with other beaders; teaching weaving techniques and helping them find their own creative “voice”. Sue has held workshops at local bead shops, Harper College, and the Bead and Button convention in Milwaukee, WI.
